Location: Arches National Park
While at the end of a family road trip we had one day and night to spend at Arches National Park. As the family and I spent the day exploring the different trails and arches I was taking notes as to where I would be coming back later that evening after the sun went down. My goal was to capture a star trail shot through one of the arches. Plus I wanted the full circle of trails which meant I needed an arch that I could line up a shot through while facing North. Out of all the arches we visited that day, Broken Arch was the only one with a North facing view (and easily accessible in the dark) so that’s where I headed that night. Once I grabbed the shot of my silhouette and set the camera for the long exposure I spent a couple of hours watching Netflix on my phone while sitting in the dark. It was a fantastic evening and I couldn’t have been happier with the results!
Unless requested otherwise, each print is printed on lustre paper with a 1-2″ white border. The white border is part of the print size so the actual image size will be slightly smaller. Each print will include a signature in the bottom right corner and a title in the bottom left corner both on the white border just under the image. If you prefer no signature and title on the front of the print, want a borderless print, or a different paper type just let me know in the order notes.
